STUDENTS’ DAILY PROGRAMME

The students are meant to be up from their respective beds at 5.00am at the jingling of the school bell by the time keeper, followed by morning prayer/devotion. The Christian students have their morning devotion at the common room within the hostel, while the Muslim students have theirs, including the five compulsory daily prayer, at the school mosque, which is situated within the school premises. Between 5.00am and 6.00am the students should have completed their prayer/devotion, tidied up their rooms and cleaned up their surroundings. They are expected to take their bath between 6.00am and 6.50am dress up and proceed to the dining hall for their snack. More importantly, the students are taught to observe strict table manners while eating. From 6:50am to 7:00am, all the students are expected to be at the assembly ground as the hostel remains locked. Moning assembly commences from 7:30am to 7:50am.

From 7.50am to 8.00am form masters take their roll call, even as the teachers proceed to their respective classes for the day’s academic activities. The first phase of academic activities last till 10.00am. From 10.00am to 10.30am the students observe their long break at the dining hall where they are serve their breakfast. The second phase of academic activities commences from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Thereafter, the students go on short break which last till 12.40pm. The third and last phase of academic activities commences from 12.40pm till 2.00pm when the school dismisses for the day. The students have their lunch between 2.15pm to 2.45pm and their siesta from 2.50pm to 3.50pm. The siesta is compulsory for all the students as it helps their body system to function effectively and in preparation for their evening extra-curriculum activities. Football training for all the categories commences at 4.00pm under the watchful eyes of the school head coach and the technical/medical crew. The training is for two hours and it’s expected to end at 6.00pm. Thereafter, the students proceed to the hostel where they freshen up before heading to the dining hall for their dinner at 6.30pm. They subsequently rest for 15 minutes before observing their prep class from 7.15pm to 8.55pm. At 9.00pm all the students are expected to be sitted at the dining hall for the network news, which lasts till 9.55pm. Thereafter, the students observe their general night prayer/devotion at the common room which ends at 10.00pm when the light are switched off as the students retire to their respective beds.
